CHICAGO (AP) - Indiana Gov. Frank O'Bannon suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and underwent several hours of surgery Monday after being discovered unconscious in his Chicago hotel room. ``The next 24 to 48 hours is going to be critical,'' said Dr. Wesley Yapor, who operated on the 73-year-old governor. ``We're hoping he's going to recover function. How much, we don't know.''

He is in Pretty bad shape and from all that the news have said about his condition it is unlikely he will make it a week! And if he does he won't be like he was and would be serverly handicaped!

I been away for the past couple hours but I think the Lt. Governor has taken complete control of the state!

Best wishs to the O'bannaon family , Frank is one of the niced and most like politions in the US.!

From what I'm hearing, the Lt. Governor Kernan is now the acting Governor of Indiana.
