Following the heavy rains that plagued the mid-west over the weekend, the storms eventually got to Indianapolis just 700 miles down the road from me.

The city of Indianapolis recorded a record of 180mm+ of rain over a three period making it the wettest day in Indianapolis ever.

Ironically enough, FIA Saftey Delegate, Charlie Whiting visited the circuit that day to look at the safety of the speedway after a year of racing.

Even with all of the rain, speedway officals claim that preperations for the upcoming event on September 26, "will not be interrupted."

I am attending the Grand Prix of the United States. I paid a lot of Money for my tickets

Cool. Take some pics while you are there and post for us!

Hey cool to see your going, and have pit passes. I still have yet to scan my pics from last year. I am sadly not attending this year. Me being the technical type, you gotta get some pics of the car up close unconvered. Like suspension, brakes, engine. The good stuff.

cool ineed. Every year I get closer to going. Hasen't worked out yet. I got er penciled in for next year though, hehe. Ask Shumi what he thinks about the wide track Michelins.
