Kanaan looks like he's got it dialed in.

Danica's not looking bad. We need to get away from that 'middle of the pack' thing and start getting out front though. Mediocre isn't terrible, but it is still mediocre after all. :)

I'm sure I'll watch the first half from bed live, and then the final Saturday afternoon. :)

Not good. The race has officially been postponed due to the wet track at turn 4.
The race will be run tomorrow night. Coverage is at 10pm Eastern on ESPN Classic.

Glad I switched to DirecTV. :D

I dont have satellite anymore, I got cable with the HD DVR package. I had to because I have my hi-speed internet with my cable provider and if I wanted to keep my dish with all the same features and channels I would get with cable and internet, I would of spent about another $60 more a month.

I have several ESPN channels.... ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPN News, and it goes on and on.

Only cable option we have here is good ole Comcast. :(

We still have Comcast internet because they're the only provider of high-speed in Extreme-Northern Waldorf and Accokeek.

We have about 10x's the HD selection and more than 200 more channels. Comcast didn't even offer ESPN Classic, not to mention ESPNNEWS, ESPNU, and the other networks.

Plus, we don't lose picture everytime it rains anymore. :)

Still have the same problems with internet though since we still have Comcast for that, which is the internet going out twice a week. Just have to suck it up - Verizon won't offer FIOS or DSL around here - we just barely missed being zoned for all those goodies, by like a few hundred feet. :idunno:

this race is underway. Unfortunately Marco Andretti has already wrecked, and he is my favorite driver!

:bounce: Woo-Hoo!!! :bounce: Congrats to Danica!!!! I stayed up to watch the race on Friday night (yes, midnight is late for me on a Friday) only to be mad about the rainout but Saturday night's results proved worth the wait!

ummmm....I watched an interview with Helio during the Long Beach Race today. I was only half listening but I think he said he let Danica by because he and the crew didn't know it was a pass for the lead! Anyone else see/hear that? Could that possibly be true?

I heard that as well, but he then added that had he not let her go, he'd have probably run out of gas and did say that she earned it fairly.

good to know, I guess. Graham Rahal had a strange comment about her win too, but I can't quite remember it and don't want to get it wrong...something about it not be exciting or pretty or something like that?

Well, Graham will have to face here next week, and she might have a little something to say about how he ended his race today.

Guys have ALWAYS had trouble losing to girls...I'm not surprised. I suspect there will more 'comments' to come on her win.

Way to Go Danica!

I heard somthing about Castroneves letting her by on Wind Tunnell, I say sour grapes. Danica won fair and square, Congrats Danica, I knew it was going to happenn.

Some people on here might have bashed that win since it was because of fuel mileage. ;)

Betcha they won't if Junyer wins a fuel mileage race. It's amazing seeing how all these people are crying like babies over Danica's win.

Way to go Danica. Another Wisconsin driver coming on strong!!! Too me as far as fuel mileage races go.....It's all part of racing.

Well, after all the hype has died down, the talk has truely begun. Heard some of the guys at work talking about how she had to win in a fuel race. I asked one who was the last guy to win a Cup race and was that the same. One thing no one can say and that is she didn't cross the finish line first. Had Helio won, no one would have been saying that he didn't earn it, and BTW, Helio did say "she earned it" at one point. I hope he hasn't changed his mind.

If Helio "let her by" then it was a stupid mistake by spotters and crew. If he lied about it because he didn't like 'losing to a girl' that's even stupider (if that's a word) and I've lost a lot of respect for him.
I wish I had Graham's quote...
