The 2.258-mile, 13-turn natural-terrain course offers a little of everything -- elevation changes, speed corners, flowing corners, tight corners, a narrow (40 feet) racing ribbon and a challenging entry to pit lane.

2:15-3:15 p.m. (Firestone Indy Lights practice)
3:30-4:15 p.m. (IZOD IndyCar Series practice)

Saturday, Aug. 3 -- 9:30-10:15 a.m. (Firestone Indy Lights practice)
10:30-11:15 a.m. (IZOD IndyCar Series practice)
1 p.m. (Firestone Indy Lights qualifications for Sunoco Pole Award)
2 p.m. (IZOD IndyCar Series qualifications for Verizon P1 Award)

Sunday, Aug. 4 -- 11-11:30 a.m. (IZOD IndyCar Series warmup)
Noon (Firestone Indy Lights 40-lap race)
3 p.m. (IZOD IndyCar Series 90-lap race)

God, I love road racing! Those cars look so sweet going over the curves and hills.
 
Why am I hooked on NASCAR when this series has been so much more exciting this season?
 
Congrats to Charlie, seems like a nice guy. Always thought the whole diabetes angle was overplayed in the media but nice to see a young American get his first win in open wheel racing.
