Hunter-Reay passed Franchitti when Dario came out of the pits, and Marty Reid had no clue it was for the lead.

Bummer - I only get espn and espn2....both are doing soccer...one has Greece versus Russia and the other has Czheckoslavakia versus Poland.

My Lord - what is this world coming too?

I wish I could see the "Milwaukee Mile" race....back in the day it was always Indy - Michigan - Milwaukee...alas :(

Congrats to Ryan Hunter-Reay. The cameras didn't focus on him much toward the end.

And his wife Beccy is Robby Gordon's sister????

Good race, par for the course at this point. I love the brand competition, with Chevy showing that ovals aren't just Honda's show.

Hate what happened to Dixon though. Still don't know why he can be penalized on a waved off restart, or if that was even where the supposed jump happened.

Yeah, Dixon got hosed. He was tolad after the race that he should not have been penalized. Oh, well...
Glad to see the Indycars back on that track. I think they have a formula that will help to restore some of the lost glamour that the series had - before Tony Effen George effed it all up!

As for the TV coverage, I don't know what else ABC could have done but switch the race to an ESPN channel. As Tony said earlier, ESPN and ESPN2 were both showing international soccer and despite the fact that race fans would rather see racing, soccer fans would rather see soccer. So whatcha gonna do? The window for the Nationwide Race (also on ABC) was about to open. NA$$CAR fans would have been pissed if coverage of that race was delayed or removed. Marty is not one of my favorite race announcers either. That's fersure!

Who'll stop the rain?
