Thank god for the red flag @ lap 9....It would'nt have been much longer till every car was trashed......Hopefully they will ride the storm out....

Agreed. It didn't take a rocket surgeon to predict carnage on lap one. Way too wet of a track. Wanted to hear Danica's take on the incident but she's nowhere to be found.

....but the show must go on.

As some of you may know, race is scheduled to restart tomorrow morning (Monday) at 8:00 am eastern time.

However, I have yet to find anything that would indicate the race will be shown live on SPEED, or anywhere else for that matter. Nothing definitive on the SPEED website, like "watch live on SPEED". Nor have there been any changes made to their tv schedule for Monday. No broadcasting info was given in the ticker that scrolls across the bottom of the screen during the SPEED Center airing (formally the SPEED Report). SPEED reporter Robin Miller was in Brazil for the race, yet was in Indianapolis by mid-afternoon to provide analysis for the SPEED Center show.

Hmmm ...... anyone know any different?

And, oh yeah, Robin Miller says race officials are considering starting the race from anew, even though they've gone 14 laps already. He speculates an influence by Helio Castroneves's and Tony Kanaan's sponsors, who's drivers were each taken out on lap one. And, of course, the race is in Brazil, the birthplace of both Castroneves and Kanaan.

Why would it be on speed when it was on versus today?

Damn they said yesterday on the broadcast the race would start at 1pm eastern time. Did anyone see the race?

Well, lucky for me I haven't seen the results, as I turned on the race at 5:00. Interesting race in the rain. But I have to say 2 things with 17 minutes to go:

- The Andrettis are a bunch of whiners, and each year that goes by I lose more respect for them

- Indycar's blocking rule is complete crap.

this is why i always rooted for al unser jr against micheal when they were in their prime. michael just flat turned me off with his whining.

- Indycar's blocking rule is complete crap.
hehehe, yep :)

I could never understand that blocking rule, hell aren't you supposed to make it hard for the guy to get around you?

I'll never like blocking rules if your dumb enough to run into the back of the car in front of you its your own fault.
