Loks like Simona is out qualifying Danica, Danica should either run Nascar or Indy, not both. This switching series thing just doesn't work for any driver, male or female. She was just getting decent finishes in Nationwide then she goes back to Indy.

I agree. I dont like this both series seasons. You cant really become the best in one series if you split your seat time. I wish she would stay in Indycar personally but I believe she will make the full switch to Nascar next year.

To back this up about switching is last year when she ran this split series, she finished the worst in Indycar points since her rookie year back in 2005 when she was 12th in points and last year she was 10th.

Decent finish for her today, I think she has made a lot of progress in Nascar, if she concentrates just on that she might make Cup some day.

these guys need a lot of practice on double file restarts. i'll bet some of them cringe just thinking about them. congrats to mike conway on his first win. :)

Why have double-file restarts when you're not going to enforce it?

I'm just echoing what Robin Miller said after the race. Even the start was a little ragged. But maybe it was a good thing. Very tight course.

With these guys I think they should only have the double file on the ovals.

Watching now, looks more like an NBC broadcast (from when Bill Weber was there) than anything.

Shame NBC took a good product Versus had and pissed on it. :(

I think the double file restarts have actualy made the racing more exciting. I remember Nascar had a couple big wrecks the first few weeks they tried the double file restarts. The one common denominator seems to be Castronevas. 2 of the 3 races he has tried to dive bomb the 1st turn and wiped out a hand full of cars.
