After seeing pictures of the early construction stages just a month ago I'm not surprised. It's too bad because Brazil is a great market for IndyCar but the economy sucks too much for several potential venues and Interlagos is probably exclusive to F1.

This is a bummer. Especially for those who bought tickets and spent money on travel.

FFS. A bit more notice and they could have found a replacement.

On the other hand, the season ends so early they can find a venue somewhere else, no? They can stay in The States.. There are so many great venues..

Edit: obviously it would make more sense to put a replacement somewhere mid season without messing with Sonoma's season finale.

The Indycar website says that 3/4 of the tickets have already been sold and the course was nearly completed. WTH??

Hopefully they can add a race at the end of the season. Oh well!!

:(

The love for Castroneves and Kannan is so well documented in Brazil, a shame that all of the fans not only in Brazil, but in other places in South America have to miss out on this. It's a great course and the last two years the races have been awesome.
