Yes, pretty sad state of affairs our roads and bridges are in. There's quite a few overpass's here with wood cribbing right beside the concrete columns holding them up. A chunk of roadbed fell off the old Jamestown bridge several years ago narrowly missing a boater .
 
haven't seen it yet. sounds like one of those lefty shows to generate support for high(er) taxes. the roads and bridges are just fine. i drove on a road and went over a bridge yesterday and guess what...nothing happened! <g>
 
This isn't a lefty/righty problem. It's a problem shared by every state and everybody. Unless the pols get off their azz and do something we'll have more and more bridges collapse.
 
I watched it, what is the most astounding part is the amount of money needed to fix the infrastructure! Gee if we spent some money doing this instead of fighting a few wars we shouldn't be in, maybe the unemployment rate would fall.:rolleyes:
