Interesting list of plagiarized songs

Two of those I know about, CCR and Ghostbusters. The John Fogerty vs CCR one was just ridiculous.

One that's not listed is the George Harrison vs Chiffons lawsuit from 1976, where Harrison was sued, and LOST, for “subconsciously” plagiariz the Chiffons song "He's So fine"

Viva La Vida was pretty blatant. That's almost an exact clone of Satriani's song.

One I didn't notice was how The Red Hot Chilli Peppers song "Dani California" is nearly the exact same as Tom Petty's song "Mary Janes Last Dance".

I remember hearing about this a while back and found it disgusting then and still do.

Suing Fogerty for sounding like CCR is like suing water for being wet.

I could have been playing drums or guitar for CCR and no one would've known the difference 'cause their sound is all John Fogerty. The rest of that band should be embarrassed for continuing to play the songs he made famous.

You kind of have a point there. I've never really liked CCR's sound, although I do like several of their songs. I find his voice really annoying, but I know most people who like them like them because of him.
