I get the feeling there is a lack of cohesion on Dale's team.
That includes Tony Eury, Jr., who, without his father at his side, might not be the right fit for Dale Jr..
Many are quick to point fingers at Teresa and she has no need to answer to anyone. Teresa has shown from day one she is capable of finding the right people and it looks like she is making the right moves to keep things going forward at DEI. Discussions with RCR in building an engine shop together did not happen overnight but the part one of a long term plan.
Teresa's not caving in to demands by Dale and his sister for majority ownership, IMO, will prove to have been the right thing. For both involved.
But neither can anyone blame Dale for trying to get all he can.
A lot of folks do not like Teresa Earnhardt, but do not count her a failure. Those who did so early this year are now witness to a total remaking of DEI that has been in the works for a long time. Martin Truex, Jr. winning is only one small step, but my bet is, DEI within a few years, will become a home of champions instead of the museum Tony Stewart thinks it will once Dale leaves.
Shows how much any of us know.
