Just the same old rabble rousing.. If he is YOUR guy it is Ok, or maybe a bad deal. If someone else is YOUR guy then you might be among the rabble being roused!
It is over and done with drop it and go on to better things.

If you are a motorsports fan and live in the US, just about the only racing televised LIVE is NASCAR. You'll get F1 on tape delay, they've all but dropped WRC, TransAM/Grand Am is rarely televised and if so it's a tape delay. IRL/ChampCar shows up on non network cable TV unless it's Indy.

Why is this? Advertising Dollars. The France family has built an advertising package that can't be touched by other sanctioning bodies.

I give you "Rolex" Grand AM versus ALMS.

How about "Nextel Cup"/"Busch Series" vs Speed World Cup TC/GT.

The "Craftsman" Truck Series initally was an advertising gimmick to take advanage of the explosive growth of the Pick Up /SUV sales market.

They've made themselves about the only game in town. We, with our spending habits, have made it easier for them.
