Iowa Corn City 250

[Restrictor Plate King!]

OK this weekend is the Iowa Corn City 250 at the new Iowa Motorsports Speedway. Track resembles Richmond International in that it's a speedy flat oval just short of a mile. Track looked good on camera so lets see what happens. I'm predicting another Penske rout, they've had pretty good success at Richmond, Hornish Jr won the Richmond event last season, Castroneves won it in 05 this track is pretty similar so I see more of the same what do the rest of you think?

I think Penske is always a safe bet, I'm an AGR fan myself and they could take the win. Of course, after looking at the qualifying results with Sharp, Carpenter and Simmons qualifying 4th, 5th and 6th, mybe we are in for a surprise.

This track was partially designed by Rusty wasn't it? and we all know how fond he is over Richmond. I'm anxious to see if the old man did a good job with his design.

Incredibly demanding track with a crazy amount of cars out, looked like a race from the IRL of old, 5 cars on the lead lap but a good race nonetheless.
