thats a nice track and we need more short tracks on the cup side which gives us good racing.

Who agrees that Iowa should get a cup race and do you think they will one day?

It's not something Rusty's looking in to right now, but it might happen down the road. I think Rockingham will end up in the Nationwide or Truck schedule before Iowa gets a Cup race... both are long shots, but they could happen.

Iowa from my point of view produces great racing. Too bad it's not in a major t.v. market. Maybe they should build a casino and NASCAR will come.

Andy get over it. Rockingham is in the middle of nowhere. They are lucky to have ARCA.

aaaahemmmmm, I mean, Bristol, Tennessee isn't in the middle of a big metropolis. Sometimes I think the track is bigger than the city.

But you have to agree that Rockingham gave us some racing, especially with all that sand.

Feburary 2004 Kasey becomes my driver from that near pass of Kenseth, also where the heck is Talladega Alabama

Iowa is a good choice. That place fills up for the freaking IRL so they'll go nuts over cup cars. I was passing through Iowa City a few years ago and it was about 2 months after the IRL race there and the signs for the track were everywhere. Those people love that track.

LOL The track is almost bigger than the city.

Where the hell is Martinsville, VA? Oh yeah, the middle of bum **** nowhere.

This is true! It is like you are driving along a two lane highway and BOOM a race track pops up! lol

However, I do not think the location of a track fills it up. I think it is what you get when you get to the track...just my opinion...

That was exactly my point about Bristol. You have the track in California and then you have Bristol. I would venture to say that if they had kept the track in good condition, made the necessary changes with suites etc., North Wilkesboro would have out sold California.
