I thought it was a good race today, a lot more passing than last year, and no "big one". Good clean racing between Andretti & Mutoh the last few laps, nothing wrong with that. Nice to see Marco learned how to race cleanly over the last weeks...I'm betting that "Drivers Only" meeting at AGR encouraged him to see the light. Poor Tony Kanaan, not his year, I know he will probably be making a move at the end of this season but I'll be sorry to see him leave AGR... John Andretti is doing good in IRL with what is most definitly sub-par equipment, another good run for him :)

Andy, if you don't like IRL then don't post a damn thing. You really are getting annoying. Just STFU.
 
I watch IRL for the same reason everybody else does... Danica.:D

I'm glad to see John Andretti running so well. He's definently showing his talent now. I wonder what would've happened had he not had the pit road problems.

Eveyone except Hideki Mutoh. Everyone gave Marco Andretti such a hard time over Indianapolis, but they're not criticizing Hideki. He was obviously holding up his teammate, then nearly took him out. I disagree with Michael Andretti, Marco had every right to be pissed about that. Danica raced like teammate, she knew they could not race three-wide going into the corner and she backed out and raced like a good teammate. Hideki needs to learn how to be a good teammate. That could've been a big victory for Andretti-Green, but Hideki wanted 2nd place more than he wanted his team to win. :rolleyes:
 
I loved the race. It was exciting. All the passes, tight side-by side racing. I couldnt sit still.

I wish Danica could of pulled it off but she still finished 6th after being around 12-13th all race. Im proud of her! She will take the victory in Richmond.:beerbang:

Overall, it was a good day for the AGR Team except for Kanaan crashing in the race. That was a bummer. Kudos to Hideki for running a great race and now leads the rookie-of the year standings.

And kudos to Dan Wheldon for the win. All the Chip Ganassi earnings will go towards the Iowa Relief Fund. Real nice.

I hate to break it to you, but in this day and age, Danica IS the IRL.

Then you're watching it for the wrong reason. IRL is good racing, but since you will NEVER be convinced of that, why do you bother Oh, I know, so you have something to complain about.

I didn't turn it on until near the end, but the last restart was pretty exciting. 3 wide, and if Danica hadn't of backed off, it would been ugly. I was waiting to see Marco cause another wreck with a teammate, but was glad to see him use his head for a change. Sure, maybe Hideki coulda let him by, but letting him by ain't racing (I hate "team-orders" racing...)

Hideki almost wrecked him. If Marco wasn't using his head, Hideki would've wrecked him.
 
I think a great race move was by Danica when Marco went on the inside of her and Dixon was on the outside and she knew she couldnt run 3 wide so she backed off. Classy move there by my girl.:)

if you dont like the IRL dont post about it. the race today was good, alot better than last years race there. i hated to see TK crash he was coming. as for Mutoh he impressed me, you cant seriously think that any driver would just move over with 2 laps to go and let someone go especially when the leader was right in front of him.
 
I thought it was a great race. I don't watch it because of Danica and was watching it before she came along. Until she gets naked in Playboy I could really care less about her, she is just a moving chicane.

She's a little more than a moving chicane. Milka Duno, on the other hand, is in the way.
 
Maybe that was a bit harsh. Danica is better than that but she is not why I watch it. But I am waiting on that Playboy issue.
