Grand-am daytona testing starts january 3rd, with the rolex 24 started January 24th.

I'm with you there. You going to the Chili Bowl?

I wish VA sounds like you have to inherit those tickets through a death in the family. Or have a car and go run it. Im one of the ones stuck watching it on ppv

Nope, just got lucky. Hell, I only went for the first time 4 years ago when I found out a friend from California was racing. Made a last minute decision to go, bought only pit passes. Same with the following year. Last year just sent in a ticket request before the deadline, and waited. Ended up with 1st section, first row tickets. Hoefully I can start upgrading them as time goes on, maybe even gettig the good seats in turns 3/4.

You actually can go, and even buy pit passes as late as Saturday, they just keep stuffing 'em in.

Hey, we got football. You gotta love that.

How do you think I feel, I have until April before my IndyCar Series starts.:(

I'm NOT loving football! At least it's one race a day during the weekends, not 4 or 5 football games. Uggh. I'm sick of them already.

Well, those Indy drivers need to get their butts in gear. They finish early too. Sheeesh! ;)

Why would you even care? All you've ever down is ***** and whine about everything Nascar did all year long. I can't think of a single race that you didn't cry about something not being to your liking.

Maybe you should be asking this question on the Arca forum? What? It doesn't get the traffic that Nascar chat does...could that be because not many here are that passionate about Arca. Well then why don't you post this in Drag racing forum...oh, same reason. You don't have an audience there... :D

Indy's schedule has it right. Less is more.

It works with the NFL. Only reason I'm not a hardcore NFL viewer is because I only get to see Jacksonville Jaguars games twice a year.

And this year ain't been pretty.

By the time September's come, I'm just about burnt out with racing - especially when all the local races get rained out and all you get is the Jimmie and Carl show on ESPN.

Don't you wish SPEED aired sports car races and professional open wheel races or something other than engine tuner stuff?

Diversity is the key.

My 2009 New Year's Resolution is to see a different form of motorsport each month. With NASCAR, less is more. Just enough NASCAR racing to leave me wanting more - I'll be going to short tracks more often. :)

I could believe it. We know he likes turning right. Wonder who would pick him up?

There was an article on Racingone.com that I was gonna post here, but it said I had to have 15 posts before I could post another url in here.
I can sort of paraphrase. I think it was one of the Lexus teams from the ALMS series, and they were saying he was running competitive times.
He was of course having problems hitting his braking marks. As he said, ' There's a fine line between not brave enough, and stupid '.
