My Bride and I loved camping at Martinsville. That, Wilkesboro, Charlotte and Rockingham were our favs for camping in the eighties. Then they began changing the fee structure and increased it every year, also limiting the campsite areas and the proverbial straw was when they required reservations in advance. Not sure if they changed things on the backstretch at Martinsville but we only camped there the last three years we attended races. Now it is a two hour drive for me to get to Martinsville.
