in the NASCAR series, the left tires tend to ware out quicker than the right. since that's the direction that you're turning. meaning the left tires are more of a priority to change during a pit stop.:confused:

Not from all the tire changes I've seen!! Almost everytime two tires are changed they would be the right hand (passanger) side that are changed.
The left hand tires actually travel fewer miles than the outside tires do.

Generally speaking, no. The car always wants to slide up the track. This puts a lot more burden and wear on the right side tires. In most races, you will see right side tires always changed, but not necessairily left side tires.
