There was the 1927 Yankees, Richard Pettys 27 wins in 1967, Kyle Buschs winning an Xfinity race, and now Chestnut sets the all time record by downing 72 dogs in just 10 minutes.
I dont actually watch the thing, but the whole idea is a hoot. Kind of like a good sarcasm of how the public elevates a sports personality above doctors, school teachers, firemen, etc or the real heroes.
It plays like a good weird Al parody video imo.
