I think MWR has been overlooked in all the talk of where drivers may end up. Could MWR have nabbed Matt? Who would have predicted they would get Bowyer this year, so it's not out of the question. What about Logano or Newman? Michael is pretty good at bringing in sponsors.

Brian Vickers, 2 top 5s and an average finish of 9.0 in 3 starts with MWR. They'd be a fool not to put him in a car full time.

I thought you wanted Vickers in the 22 car? Besides, Vickers isn't half the driver Logano is. I like Vickers, but that's the truth.

I think they're ready for a 3rd full time driver, don't know about a fourth car though. I think with the amount of drivers that are looking for a ride in 2013 and the improvement at MWR in performance this year the third car needs to be a full time driver with the oppurtunity for team, sponsor and driver to compete for the Chase.

It's not often there are top 10 drivers available. I doubt Mikey misses the opportunity to expand with a quality driver.

I'm sure he'd capatilize on it also but I'm not sure they can maintain the level of performance they have achieved this year across 4 teams. It has been a long road for MWR to get to this point. I just think it'd have to be a perfect fit to take on a 4th car. Plus with the amount of drivers out there, I see no reason for them to keep Truex in the 56.

I see the 55 as the seed for a 3rd team. If they get a quality fulltime driver in it, Mikey and Mark could play in a part time 4th car. I don't know if Mark is even signed beyond this year.

From wikipedia, so take it for what its worth...

On November 4, 2011, it was announced that Martin would replace David Reutimann in the then #00 for MWR in 2012, a deal lasting through 2013 in the #55. He will drive 25 races in both seasons, sharing the car with Michael Waltrip and Brian Vickers.

I'd like to see Newman there but I think it would be Vickers .

I doubt they go to a 4 car team, getting a solid driver in the 55 has been the goal all season I think, Vickers is auditioning right now for next year. I still think Kennseth would of been perfect in the 55, but that doesn't look like it is happening. Newman....he's ok, but I think they want a more talented driver in that ride, I don't think Logano is a good fit either, I just can't see him getting along with Truex and Bowyer or Mikey for that matter. I think Mark is out of MWR after this year and finally calls it quits...I hope!

How about Kyle Busch finds sponsorship and moves the #54 to Cup in 2013? Would kind of bring the comparisons to Dale Earnhardt, Sr. full circle.

After just one season in NW, doubt he will do that, but stranger things have happened.

He only competed in the Trucks series for 2 years before moving to Nationwide. It could be a proxy 4th(or 5th) team for Gibbs.

If Toyoto can buy him a top tier driver they will. They have a vested interest in seeing him succed in the big leagues.

I don't see Aarons being satisified with 3 drivers next year. IMO, the 55 has been trying to find the right driver for Aarons while Mikey and Mark hold down the fort.

I believe that Vickers has already figured out their setup, so I'm pretty sure that he'd suit MWR best if they were to get a full time ride for the 2013 season.

One race doesn't mean much , but it will be interesting to see what Vickers can do today Brent.

I dont expect much today. He isnt good at New Hampshire.

I wouldn't have picked him to do good at Infineon raceway either, but he proved me wrong there. He's been fast all weekend at NH, so who knows.

It don't matter if MW is ready or not. He has always tried to do everything, and the first time he smells enough sponsorship money it will be on full speed ahead..Then it will be on to satilite teams, he won't stop till he is president.

He is probably one of the Four Horsemen of the final Apocalypse.. A sore and grievous affliction to annoy the crap out all of us till we die.
