I was listening to Sirius Speedway today during the last hour of the show and I noticed a lot of callers were commenting about how much they listen to the channel. One caller said his radio is on NASCAR Radio about 75% of the time, and Dave Moody said something to the effect of "can't you make it 100% of the time until we learn our fate?" I'm not sure what that meant, and I haven't heard about any trouble with the channel prior to today.

I know that Sirius XM has been rearranging their channels a lot as of late and some have gotten the ax. I would hate to see this channel go away, as I listen to it quite frequently myself. I certainly hope it sticks around. I was just curious if anyone else knows more about this.

I haven't heard anything about it, so i think it will be fine, i would be mad if they got rid of it:mad:

What you heard were responses to an earlier call and Moody's stirring of the pot. An earlier caller had mentioned that during a recent NASCAR Fan Council survey, fans were asked their opinions of the channel and its personalities. Moody, jokingly, went on to feed the thought that maybe that survey was meant to determine their fate. It's nothing more than that.

If you subscribe to the online service of SiriusXM then paste the link below to listen to that part of the show once you've logged in. They don't allow direct linking from outside the login page. Start at the 2:13:41 mark for the beginning of that call.

Like many others I'm sure, when NASCAR Radio is no longer on SiriusXM I'll be gone as well. That is the only reason that I subscribe. Pandora feeds all of my music needs.

Good, I'm glad it's nothing. I only heard part of the conversation, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for the clarification, dpk.
