Is the race still going to happen at MIS

Since all of the power outages does anyone know if the MIS race will still go on I have heard that there is only one gas station around Detroit that is open and the lines are like three miles long and tons and tons of people are on the side of the road with no gas food or water and from what I hear there will be no power until Monday anyone with any info I would like to hear from please
 
I found out all events are going on at MIS they do have power and will be running

Majx, any tv coverage that you know of (for practice)?
 
None that I know of. I'm at work. (YUCK) No tv anyhow. Are you at home? Are you feeling okay?

welcome to the board, wlfyk62. nice to have you. the question was practice coverage on tv. One of the stickies we have at the top of the Nascar board, has all of the qualifying times and race times.

BTW, I saw one of your posts yesterday, and would you kindly watch the language? This is a family type forum and we do have some teenagers that are forum members. Again, welcome aboard, and thanks in advance for not using profane language! Enjoy your stay.

This is the reply I got from guest services @ MIS (at the time I didn't think to check their web site).

Thanks for your email.
The speedway has power and all events will go on as scheduled.
Have a great time at the track and enjoy the races.
