I hate to seem like I am basking in someone's demise, but...The two most evil empires in the history of College Football both lost today. Michigan lost to Oregon 31-27 and Notre Dame lost to Michigan State (I can't recall the score, but it is really unimportant). I'm not sure when the last time both of these teams lost in the same day, but it's been far too long for me.

These are on me, though I will abstain myself ^_^

Hey, it's not a great for me and the rest of the Fighting Irish nation. I wonder what the hell is wrong, I didnt see most of the game but it was close up to the 4th quarter then Michigan St. just sailed away. I guess it had to do with that damn backup QB that Notre Dame subbed in.

From what I read briefly the Irish were heading for a score when the Irish QB threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. That pretty much proved to be the final nail in the coffin.

It is a 50/50 day for me. I had Mich. and Notre Dame pick in the fan. football game. But my VOLS put a wooping on the Gators. :D :D :D

Yes they did. That was another good thing. I am a Florida State fan also and they won handily while others tumbled. Now if Miami would have lost I might have hurt myself. As it is, I will have to wait a few weeks until the Canes come to Tallahassee to get their butts handed to them by Bowdon's boys. ;)

Granted, Notre Dame played two tougher opponents the past few weeks, but they always seem to be overrated in top 25 to start out the season.

I dont really know why Notre Dame had to have such a tough schedule this year maybe it was to have a better standings in the BCS but with 2 losses that is all for naught now. Personally I didnt think they were ready to take on these higher powered and higher ranked teams. Man, the next few weeks are goin to get worse before they get better

:) Anytime my Ducks win, it's a great day! Especially when it's over a top 5 ranked team.

Well here in Tennessee are just over joyed cause we beat them Gators again this year...WooHoo.. Go Big Orange!!

I didn't watch the game so I don't know allthat happened. Has for the backup QB I wish I had go to see him. He damn sure can't be any worse than what they call a starter. On my ND QB list, he is the worst in ND history.
Two yrs now and has produced nothing, he needs to be gone. I hate to pick on coache's but what can you say positive about Willingham?

Well, Willingham is doing a much better job than Bob Davies the former coach has. Willingham led ND to a bowl game last year. This year, I'm not sure if Notre Dame can even get back into the top 25
