Yes, it is. And it looks to be aimed for the East Coast. 
Everyone here's praying for a hurricane because it's been a dry summer.
So it rains it's ass off in May triggering historic flooding across the region and everyone wants it to stop raining and become dry. Then it gets dry and everyone wants a rain event to cause flooding even though that would be catastrophic to those of us living on lower-lying land.
