Jr is the new Wonderboy

Gordon out.Junior in.The new top dog in Nascar is Earnhardt Jr.Excactly as planned all those years ago by the powers that be.[Or did Sr. just forget how to win at the same moment Gordon made his entrance?]

Face it:Tony Stewart is the reigning champ of Nascar, and he might as well be invisible.Jeff Gordon, once a chosen one himself, now cant even buy a win.Jimmie and Ryan and Kurt are only mentioned in passing---usually in comparision to Jr.

And God help poor Matt Kenseth, the circuits winningest driver last year.He could roll around on fire on the waldorf- astoria stage and not be noticed.

Jr. is the future folks.HE put it plainly yesterday, saying in effect get on the bud express or get out.[post race comments]A far far far cry from ol King Richard and his treatment of the fans/press.

It was funny Earnhardt Sr got his fire back once Jr came to the big show...

^_^

im glad jeff isnt the wonderboy no more, less jeff haters maybe and now more jr haters?? what is the world coming to lol, it should be interesting to see the reaction jr gets at martinsville this week

I said it waaaaaaaaayyyyy back, much to the derision and ridicule of most 'fans':The 'DEVICE' was passed from DW to SR. to GORDON to JR....No evidence at all other than circumstantial.Just always struck me as odd how each of these guys were dominating with no weakness at all. Then suddenly-------POOF!----back to just average status.Of course,I dont have the traction control device in hand....but take Chevrolets modern era win total and see excactly what percentage of their wins come from these four guys. Now take the titles for Chevy and do the same.See a pattern here? Now look at the history of Nascar.....dig back and read of allegations from REAL Nascar insiders.Bobby Allison screamed and pointed with all his might at Nascar.Particularly at DW back in the day.

Still not convinced?[and some will never be]Notice very carefully the 'peak' points in each of the above mentioned drivers careers? Each dropped off dramatically almost at the excact same time the other took over.Remember:the rest of the 40-42 drivers maintained the status quo---winning on ability occasionally. But on ability.A lot of drivers have came along that could out-drive any of these drivers on any given sunday.Allison,Elliott,Martin and Stewart for instance....but they were taking knives to gunfights, imo.

And another bit of circumstance:The four drivers mentioned above are just about the four most controversial finishers in Nascar history.Because occasionally the results were just to blatant.Nascar just went TOO far across the line[or under it].Particularly with regards to Earnhardts.Surely no one reading this post can deny this simple fact.

Ahh..maybe I should just delete this post.

Nah.In a forum of opinions, this is mine.I think common sense should carry the day here.Try to explain it away with the only two arguments dis-believers have:coincidence or the even more ridiculous 'well, they won the most,of course they have a few controversial finishes'.Spare me.The REASON they won the most is the question at hand.Did they win on skill or because they had a little 'help?'

Because if it's skill, then tell me why Jeff hasnt won yet?

You can 'tip' the playing field a little in stock-car racing. And that is excactly what has occured.

Remember the history of the heretics who dared think the Earth wasnt the center of the universe?Well, neither is the sanctioning body and their attempt to milk another dime or two off of Sr's. death.

:) Sorry to rant,I usually get pretty vocal on this subject :) Just meant to point out a non-popular view and remove the stigma from the word 'conspiracy'.Opinions are what every thing is until after the facts are confirmed.

mmmm?Should I punch the 'add reply button?Sure.

interesting 97, i liked the post, i never thought of gordon getting help from nascar, maybe i am blind because i am a gordon fan, but i can believe it, along with the others mentioned, to me i easily believe it on jr's car because he runs to well, there was a few times when he was in the back and he pulled out and passed cars without help, something you never see done except by that bud car. but nice post 97

Thanks Toddgee.I try hard not to actually bash drivers...just try to keep it all as personal opinion :) One opinion is as good as the next, after all!

i like gordon, but dont care if he wins, sure i waste alot of money on him lol, but would rather see a good race then anything and i really like your sig 97

thats food for thought 97, but you know what opinions are like, everybody's got one. Good hard evidence will never show its face so thats all we have is opinions. I respect yours (no really I do) but I am one that has to be shown to be a believer, I'm sorry but that is just the way I am. Do you believe in little green men from outer space? I don't, but if you show me one I will. Maybe the scales are tipped a little, maybe there not, but you shouldn't hate the man that they are tipped for. REMEMBER, DON'T HATE THE PLAYER, HATE THE GAME.

can you show me that he is not? I just don't stress myself over trivial BS, if Kurt Bush had won that race the same way I wouldn't be boycotting sponsors and building petitions to get the race stripped. I would go to bed, say a little prayer and wake up the next morning and it just doesn't matter as much. I'm healthy, have a beautiful wife, and three precious little girls to take care of. Who won the race and how he won it just doesn't matter

Dale Jr. is not the only new NASCAR's chosen one, recall that NASCAR kept Jeff Gordon from taking the lead at Texas when coming to take the yellow,so that Kurt Busch(new poster boy #2)could get back on the lead lap?
I say there're 2 golden biys now as in Dale Jr. & Kurt Busch! If NASCAR keeps up with these bum calls/non-calls then I'll expect that sooner or later that NASCAR will feel it in the wallet as a lot of NASCAR fans IMO will only take so much of this crap & then give up on it & leave the sport forever,JMO!
