It's going to get tedious around here...

...if we have to go through this every weekend until HMS gets 200 wins.

And I thought the fallout from Biffle not dumping Kenseth to help the #88 win the 500 was severe

Party on.

What's the problem? This is fun. :D It's right up there with some classic Red Sox vs Yankee fan clashes.

Some people just go insane. lol

And it's funny as hell. I was talking to MoeJoe last night, and he was ballistic. The fan passion is what it's all about.

Jeff will get wins he didn't earn, along with anyone else good enough to run up front. In the end, it all evens out and we get a great emotional show.

Oh, if you want to see insane, walk around Boston in the fall wearing a Yankee cap.

I thought this week ends fender bender caused incredible overeactions from many. I heard Ryan Newman 's comments and he felt like Clint was naturally going by the slower cars and he expected to get by too. There was never any consideration that it might spoil Rick's 200th win , it was just simply what racers are supposed to do. Around here ,we seem to love it when drivers go for the win at all costs . I really thought everyone would love this. I guess ,no so much when the cars are Hendrick.

Even you have your panties in a knot over the whole Hendrick thing. The only way it could be better is if Clint was driving a Ford.

Sometimes it's the race, sometimes it's the show. Either way, people need a cast iron stomach to be a nascar fan.

Aren't the SHR cars really Hendrick cars in sheep's clothing? So, in a wierd sorta way, didn't Rick surpass the 200 win plateau some time ago??

I can certainly buy that . I don't think that Moe Joe is gonna sign on.:D

I want Rick to get 200 so Jack will shut up about his 200 of anything under the sun nascar wins.

When's the last time a race caused so much controversy and had passions running so high?

I love it. Now we just need 12 more short tracks. :D

Yeah, the 200 win thing was beaten into the ground by the talking heads. Got tired of hearing it, ad nauseum.

It's interesting to see the effect the media and commentators actually has on it's viewers/listeners, however.

Why are people complainng this week that they got the type of racing that they where complaining about not getting last week? So called NASCAR fans are confusing

Not me, I saw a great race this past weekend with a finish that is not all that out of the ordinary for a good short track race @ Martinsville. 5 out of the last 10 races there produced a late caution causing a gwc. Good stuff IMO and I can't wait to head down there this fall. More of you out there shoud do the same.

I gave the Bristol a race a 7 or 7.5 and I was accused of not being a fan. Gave Martinsville a 9.5 and I'm still not a fan. I don't know, I'm lost

It doesn't matter what others think. If you're a fan, that's cool. If you're not, well, that's your business.

This idea that if others think differently it means that they're in someway an "idiot" or "not a fan" is only one more opinion. Let 'em eat cake.

Personally, I don't rate the races 'cause what I think shouldn't matter to anyone else. If they enjoyed it, that's good and my rating shouldn't change that.

Nah, no politics here. I do discuss with friends political theory but never agrue about which party or politician is better - it's futile and cuts into beer drinking time ;)

Fair enough, but that was some smooth fence sitting there. Why not rate the race? Don't be worried that your opinion actually matters to anyone else. ;)

Good race, bad but exciting finish. Who bets that the Reutie is out of a job . If not now it will happen soon.

I just don't see where my rating should matter to anyone else as no one else's matters to me and I find it usually turns into rate the winner/car owner anyway.

As for the fence, well, I find diplomacy works best for me 99% of time. I also find it best to let someone talk themselves into a corner just in case things should take a different direction ;) I've extracted myself from more than a few situations along the way.

Not sure where you are coming from there Johali . Are you real sure David did something wrong ? Or are you just jumping on some blame bandwagon. Bear in mind that a couple of months ago ,this forum was up in arms about his shabby treatment by MWR. David is a good guy and a veteran race car driver , who feels terrible about what happened . He was following orders to stay on track as long as he could and the car quit running. Can't see him being fired for that .

I hope my meltdown was good for you. It wasn't for me.

You love that Clint and Ryan both tried to put the guys rows up three wide into turn one?
I just don't get the logic. Clint goes low, and all he can get is Jeff or the CURB. Maybe both.
What else did his mind see? What do they put in those 5hour energy drinks anyhow?

Jeff Hitting Clint, and plowing his ass end, I liked that stuff!

It's almost like since it only happens twice a year, it's just too much for my senses. Im used to falling asleep for laps upon copious laps for POCONO and FONTUCKY, Kentucky, and Kansas, Chicago.

When are we going to goto IOWA? That friggin track rules.

Everybody rates it so high, yet the stands were FAR from packed. Maybe it was all the Johnson fans who saw him get hosed last fall by a late race caution brought out by a couple of assholes in a catfight.

Probably WRONG BITCH

Oh wait Im sorry Ted. I will be here aaaaaaaalllllllllllll season long to rub you the wrong way buddy.

That's what friends are for.

Clint Bowyer on the other hand, is being constructed as we speak by a witch-doctor I met in band camp. 1/4 size. The detail is amazing.

I, will be waiting for Texas, and Johnsons revenge.
