You wonder why the 48 car has won so many championships? It's because NA$CAR has the Chase bent into the 48's favor. What are the best tracks for the 48? The mile and half tracks, and how many mile and a half races are in the Chase? This alone should be the reason NA$CAR fans demand 2 road courses in the Chase. JMO BTW. I have been loosing interest in NA$CAR for the past 3 years and if they don't change the Chase to at least 1 road course I'll be another ex-NA$CAR fan.

When I bought my new Silverado, I noticed a fee for "NASCAR is in the tank" on the window sticker.

Had I known I was paying the 48 team to win 5 championships, I would have bought a Toyota.

Dang...
When I bought my GMC Sierra and I saw that I though they were simply a proud sponsor of NASCAR. If I would have only known.

BURP.

31 of the last 37 championships have been won by GM teams, does kinda make you wonder.

There should be a road course in the chase. Kill Sonoma and put the Glen in for a second race.

Even though I don't really get into road course races...I think it would be fair to have one in. The more versatility the better for crowning a champion.

I'd rather see Sonoma in the Chase. Not a big fan of Watkins Glen, though I concede that the finishes there have been entertaining for the last few years.

Either way though, yeah, we should definitely have a road course in the Chase.

How do you make a Ford go fast? Put a Chevy in it.

Mad because JJ won 5 in a row. Losing interest in NASCAR for the last 3 years and the winners were Johnson, Stewart, & Keselowski.
Let me be the first to raise the bs flag
:bsflag:

Johnson is really good at the road course tracks so I doubt adding a road course to the chase will do anything to stop the 48 team.

That they're the superior brand?

Not to mention they have the best driving for them as well as having the personnel.

It just seems like all the top upcoming talent "coincidentally" winds up in a Chevrolet. I'm not sure if you remember, but your boy Gordon was being groomed to be a Ford guy. He ran Fords for Bill Davis Racing in the BGN Series and the plan was for the two to move up to the Cup Series together. But, Rick Hendrick swooped in, and the rest is history.

Put Road Atlanta in the Chase

You snooze, you lose. :D

Seriously though, back then it was about money and less about the car brand.

Now its the allure of driving a Chevy that gets most drivers steer in that direction. They know Chevy is a winner and so they want to go there. Its pretty much akin to wanting to play for the Lakers. Big city, alot of exposure and the glamour that goes along with it all.

Chevy is a winner. Just ask Danica Patrick ;)

Hendrick and Childress bought and paid for all of those championships a long time ago.

To be perfectly honest, I have my favorite drivers --- the make of car they drive doesn't faze me in the least.

Honestly I would not buy a Ford. They turn me off for some reason. Just dont like the brand.

Chevy and Dodge for me.

I want a Cup race at COTA. Put it at Chase race 8, two weeks before the U.S. Grand Prix.

Race chase #9 seems to imply the second to last race of the Chase, which would imply November.
I didn't see that earlier in this thread sorry, just makes sense to have road race early rather than later unless it is in a hot climate.

I think we are heading toward a RC in the chase in the next two years.

We have been wanting this for a long time. Its about time NASCAR lends an ear. This needs to happen.

Much better- COTA as chase race #9.

don't end the season with one- Bruton and France wouldn't allow it. Don't start the chase, gives teams too much time to rebound. Make it second to last, so the guys that really suck at road courses get screwed out of the deal for not being well rounded. Give them one race to redeem themselves. Problem solved.

If he would have stayed with BDR, I don't know that I ever would have became a fan, even with the success. Idk. Can't imagine pulling for a ford guy. Or any other make for that matter.

Larson in a Chevy, thank god

I am a Ford man at heart but always pull for the driver and not the make first.

I've tried, can't do it. I don't even know why I prefer the bow tie over the oval. I was raised in a Chevy family, especially high performance vehicles, but we've owned fords... I have a 93 T-Bird as we speak. It's a pile and in pieces in the garage but hey, I bought it.
