My Dad set a high bar for us kids too. Some made it over his bar and some haven't.. All of us are good people.
Just think how fortunate you are to be in the league you are in. Being there is all the accomplishment you need to make in one lifetime.

Good post and makes more sense than most that I have read regarding Jr and his misfortunes "this" year. It can be pretty tough living up to the reputation of a legend.
