I'm up, had my shower...DE is up..gotta get Kimberly up to get ready to go in about 4 hours........
we'll take lots of pictures...........hope I have everything I want to take.......

Rise and shine!!! It's finally here..........first California day to night race for Nextel Cup!! About 4 hrs till we catch the train..........ye haaa!!
Down side..........I just checked Intellicast for the weather!! 99 degrees!! Then 61 for a low!! Crap, we need a suit case to carry sunscreen, mosquito repellant, water, squirt bottles, and winter stuff!! Where are we going to put our cameras?
we had a ball.............it was fun......and HOT.......pits were great for what we saw..........Kimberly got whistled at by some of the pit crew..tire changers, gas guys.....so that was a hoot................
the track was full every seat was full.............it was exciting......loved every minute of it........love the night race..DE will fill you in on more......plus pics
we also met up with dragonlady and eagle1 again........such nice nice people......
Heck I still have to download them from the cameras (yeah, two of em!!) and resize for posting. Got a great group shot of Cutie and me and Dragonlady and Eagle1..........Kimberly took it for us. Also have a real good one of Mom and Kimberly!! Going to try to capture pictures from the video I attempted to take........still missed a lot. Those cars are just too fast to catch!! Besides Kimberly, Cutie and I were busy drinking 6 dollar beers!!
oh ya it was hot......when we were walking to the pits which i thought we would never make it...it seemed so far away.....IT WAS HOT........I about passed out...getting to old for all this activity :lol:
but we made it thur......evening was nice, not cool at all, just perfect..didn't even have to wear the sweatshirts I carted along with us just in case.....
Then 61 for a low!!
