It's SNOWING ! ! !

:bleh: snow! Please just post pics...very pretty to see, but no thanks in GA.

Snow...in Texas? You sure some gringo's overnight bag didn't fall out of an airplane?

We haven't gotten any in our area. But there is still a possibility!

And, no I haven't seen anyone's overnite bag fall from the sky. ;)

I hope it snows up here in Cheesehead land. I am hoping to get out with my brother and snowmobile all weekend.

We haven't gotten any snow here. It looks good on calenders but that is the only place I want it.

What a day for the Mardi Gras parade(sat. night). Looks like cold rain and snow mix. No snow yet but it could be here before long.

Man! I hope we get some here in 'Bama!!

Er---what excactly IS snow though? :idunno:
It's like having a giant sno-cone or a large pile of shave ice in your front yard.

TRL....would you like to borrow a shovel?

True...and then you had to look hard. Man----I am ready for some!! All that bread and milk we buy!! Unable to drive, sliding down every hill in site, trying in vain to make snowballs out of our average 1/8th of an inch!! I love that stuff!

I tried to make a snow angel once, got up all muddy, and the snow disappeared!

Ya know, the last time one inch of snow was predicted for us I was still in high school. They went ahead and cancelled school for the next day, and it didn't even snow! It ended up being like 60 degrees! haha! I love Bama!

Yeah...and whats not to love! :)

Uh--and if they predict snow for the weekend: DONT GET ALL THE BREAD! I ran out last blizzard we had.

Well, we are now COVERED in the white stuff. I'll try to post a pic later. We actually have approx. 6-7 inches and it's still snowing!!!

We only have had nothing but rain so far. It looks like it could snow at any time.

Well, it was nice and pretty this morning. But, as is Texas weather, it has all but melted now. Like TRL said, it's just a muddy mess.

Come on snow!! Might need a snow day to watch the race Monday!! :D

In the forecast for tomorrow! My kids are doing a 'snow-dance' as I type this!!I think we have like a 20%chance! Better go buy bread now folks.

Phew!! We don't have to get out in this terrible forecasted snow weather!! We've got some bread in the freezer from the last time it didn't snow! Three loaves! That oughta keep us from getting hungry while the light dusting of snow we won't get melts!

Oh no, it's own the news. The grocery stores are selling out of bread.

It just announced on the news here that we better go buy extra milk and bread man! 80% chance!! This is it....the blizzard is coming, the blizzard is coming!

Just how much snow are you supposed to get? Here in the land of the cheese, a blizzard is 8" or more with winds of 25 miles per hour or more.

Here that's called a dusting.

Our town shuts down the day before snow is predicted. I hear theres a small chance of less than an inch here, so we might be snowed in a few days!

The ground is covered. :D I don't know when is started, but we have about 1/2 inch. Bow you better enjoy it while we can.

It snowed here in upstate ny today too...
only 5 or 6 inches. nothing major

Well, I am in North Jefferson county,Turtle and it's just raining here now. Same forecast though---about an inch
I'm in extreme southern Calhoun County and our snow chances are slowing going away... :(

Oh yeah. All this bread--guess it will have to join my y2k supplies :( NO SNOW HERE! A lot of rain. Maybe we could make water-balls or water-angels. Yippee.
