Y'all don't make fun of me, now. It's 43 on my back porch and I'm totally frozen. LOL

Had a lovely morning with the doctor. Been fighting an infection since Thanksgiving, wasn't getting any better, so had to go in -- again. New medication--- sure hope this works.

Its about 20 here and I slept with my window open. I live on the top floor of our apartment building so the arpartment is soo hot all the time.

gopherguy, my dad lived in the mountains in Utah. He would tell me that it really wouldn't get cold until it hit 0, or lower. LOL

He lived in a log house. One morning he was awakened by my stepmom hitting him with her houseshoe. She had gotten up, gone into the bathroom, and sat down on the commode ---- with 2 inches of snow on it. The wind had forced the snow between the cracks in the logs. Needless to say, the cracks were filled that day. LOL

I wish it was 43 here....its in the high 20's now, it'll be in the teen's tonight. We got about 5 inches of snow last night/this morning.

Paul, you're wrong. I'm not just spoiled, I'm spoiled rotten. ROTFL

Just read on some of the news sites, that lots of people in the East are without power.

I sure hope Tiny and buckaroo in NC are OK.

I made it okay. We have underground power in my housing area, unlike most of the rest of the city. Charlotte is where it really got bad. Greensboro and High Point also were hit bad. Only about 15,000 here in WS without power. My problem was that our cable went out this morning and I couldn't log on to my favorite forum for an update! :( However, all is okay now and I'm back to my usual jabbering!:)

Nascarwoman, do you live in western wisconsin?

No gopher, I'm about 30-40 minutes from the MIlwaukee Mile. We get that great wind off the lake and the charming lake effect snow squawls.

Well its about 25 here right now. We had an ice storm come through. Driving got a little tricky. But we didn't lose our power.
