TRL, glad to have you back. Sorry you didn't get close enough to do the kidnapping caper. Maybe in Atlanta!!! You certainly will have a crew to help. LOL Glad you had a good time, can't wait to hear the report.

DUPONT, got your PM. So glad you enjoyed yourself. Nothing like going to a race to get the blood stirring.

ADJ, can't wait for Atlanta. It will be good to see the crew. Hope the house/garage can hold all of us. hehehe

The going up wasn't so bad --- anticipation, don't you know. LOL

The coming back was looooooong. I swear that Houston kept moving away from us.

Didn't have any bad weather whatsoever. Sure hope the rain got inland to Charlotte. All the reservoirs are terribly low --- at least 20 feet below the usual water level.

Welcome Back TRL, we all missed you!

What kind of History did you explore on the way?

Hugs, and since I have had some aspirin, PURRRRRRRR

kat, walked up the hill *puff, puff* from the hotel in downtown Richmond to the state capitol building. Took a very informative tour of the place. Saw the marvelous life-size statue of Washington done by Houdon--- I expected the man to move it is so real.

On the way home, stopped by the Civil War battlefield in Petersburg. Visited the Crater where so many lives were uselessly lost.
