J. Andrettis future

Other than the fact that he could not run Indy cars this year I think that John is quite comfortable where he is. He has little undue pressure and is with a team that takes safety very seriously...that is very good for a family man and John is most committed to his family. I dont think there is a sponsorship risk for his team, he is a pleasant, even tempered character that does a lot of positive PR for General Mills. I would never expect that PE would put him out of that team so I suspect he will be there next year.

No doubt about it, John's a nice guy. A nice guy who finishes 34th or so.

In a performance based, results driven profession, that ain't cutting it. Hard to decide if it's car or driver; I suspect a bit of both.

I like the guy, don't get me wrong. I was never a big Richard Petty fan, but it sure would be nice to see the ol' 43 back in the winner's circle. Whether John is capable of getting it there is debatable. He has a decent shot at Phoenix, otherwise I ain't looking for it.
