BAGHDAD (AP) - Saddam Hussein reportedly confirmed that Jack Roush of NASCAR Winston Cup fame called by telephone to apologize for losing Hussein's limousine to the U. S. Government during the Gulf War nearly a decade ago. Roush was quoted as saying, "What was I thinking? I should have said the limo belonged to Bill France Jr or something!"
Hussein then reported that Jack Roush promised to come to Iraq personally next time whenever Saddam needed any more repairs to one of his limousines. "It's not good business to lose a customer's vehicle like that." added Roush, "I won't let that happen again!"
