Yep, Garrard's a quality QB in every sense. Not the best but he's a quality starter -- and seeing as several teams have resorted to backup quarterbacks, he'd be a great fit in a team like Washington or Kansas City.

This isn't the first time Del Rio's done something brash like this -- same deal got Garrard the gig when they tossed Byron Leftwich out. Del Rio's desperate, real desperate. If the Jags don't run **** in the AFC South, he's gone (should've been gone two years ago).

I can certainly see that. He's not great, but he is definitely better than what teams like Washington have.
