Jameis Winston case isn't gone yet...

Don't need to look much further than Steubenville or Maryville or Mizzou to see what happens when rape incident or sexual assault gets in the way of a good football program.
 
Good investigative reporting. I wished the school, officer Angulo, and
the responsible parties had been as interested in a timley investigation. There conflicted self serving interest and lack of moral courage will keep matters forever in doubt.
Proctecting an alleged rapists obviously means more than a young womens welfare.

Last of all Winston may be completely innocent, we will probably never know. The lame effort or willingness to cover up a potential crime is truly disgraceful, and shameful. His unwillingness to discuss or corporate with an investigation, will always lead me to question his character. A lowlife imo that deserves the reputation.
 
As a huge Florida State fan, I am embarrassed by this entire episode. Unfortunately, I'm not shocked that people would conspire to cover up a crime of this nature alleged against a football player in a major college town. I hope Winston is innocent of a crime, but he certainly isn't innocent of some really poor decision making at the very least. We will never really know what happened on that night and that is unfortunate, especially for the alleged victim is there actually is one. It is also unfortunate for Winston as well, if he is indeed innocent, because all of this cover up makes him appear guilty of many things.
