I wonder what said opportunities are. Must be pretty darn solid considering his success with and family ties to TSM.

"I have always been supportive of James and I am very proud of everything that he has accomplished while driving for our team," said Steve Turner, co-owner of Turner Scott Motorsports and Buescher's father-in-law. "I am excited for James and his new opportunities, and everyone at TSM would like to wish him the best in his future endeavors. I will always continue to support him and cheer him on as a member of my family, but his departure from Turner Scott Motorsports does not change the passion I have for this team. I love racing and have no plans to diminish my role as a co-owner of our organization. I am looking forward to a successful season in 2014 with a very strong lineup of drivers."

Welp, he's going to RAB Racing to drive the #99. Seems like a step down, at least in terms of organizations.

Bowman finished 11th in N'wide and he missed a race for RAB. I think if Beuscher finishes that high he will make much better money than driving a truck. Bowman won almost a million dollars in 11th place N'wide, Beuscher only won less that half of that in the trucks @ 483 thousand for finishing third. Makes sense if you look at it that way.

Really happy for James. He grew up racing around the DFW area so I've basically followed him his whole career. Making this move i would assume Toyota will put more resources into this team, and when a Toyota cup ride opens up, Buescher will probably be the frontrunner.

And honestly the 99 was about as competitive as TSM last year. Other than Larson, there cars weren't very competitive. And we know how good that kid is

Allgaier ran pretty well. Piquet Jr. is a buffoon and still almost beat Bowman in points.

I guess he was tired of waiting for a full-time Nationwide ride and found RAB to be the best option at this point...11 NNS races with Turner in 2011, 20 NNS races in 2012, but dropped to just 4 this year. He's improved a good amount from his days with Finch so I have to wonder why they weren't fixing to put him into one of their NNS cars with Allgaier and Piquet Jr. leaving. He sure didn't get the RCR treatment.

I assumed they would have run Buescher full-time in the Nationwide series this year, but apparently that wasn't the plan after all. Interesting situation.

So, who is the top dog at Turner Scott now? Who do they even have left besides Jeb Burton? Do they have a full-time NNS driver?

Maybe if Beuscher tangles with a Turner Scott car next year, we might get the real story if we get a Harvick out of him.

I have a feeling Beuscher felt he had done all he needed in Trucks and may have wanted to find success outside of the family team. If TS took one of their NW drivers out of the car for James, it would have created a lot of bad press. I have a feeling James will be back with TS NW in a year when it's clear to everyone he earned the ride.

might not be a Turner Scott in the future, Scott has already moved into the cup side.

Hopefully that's not the case. Turner had a significant (and extremely successful) presence in NW and Trucks for several years before Scott came along.

They have a lot of talent in-house but it's mostly at the Truck and K&N levels. Larson is scheduled to run all of the NNS companion races with them next year. Chase Elliott could be their other full-time NNS driver.

I thought Elliott was hooked up with Hendrick? If so, he would be with Jr. Motorsports I thought.

HMS and TSM have a sort of an alliance - HMS gives Turner engines and this year the #94 truck Chase drove was a Turner chassis. JRM already has a couple of full-time NNS cars next year too.

Please god no. Anymore it's pointless to go to nationwide, especially with a mediocre team like turner scott. Unless hendrick hooks him up with a quality ride, might as well do trucks

Wow , I don't know , DaBiff . Nationwide is tier 2 and anything a driver does there has to be rated higher than anything he does in trucks or Arca . Just stiffer competition ,more to learn , etc.. I doubt there is a driver in trucks that wouldn't take a ride in Nationwide . Sponsors may only look at top five finishes , but owners can see talent anywhere in the field.

Rheem will move up with James to sponsor him for 27 races in the #99. Funding has been really difficult for RAB Racing lately, so good for them.
