Sterling Marlin's punt down the back stretch caved Jamie's entire rear end from the rear wheels back downward causing him to fail the height sticks. So much so that his car was very loose the remainder of the race because of the spoiler being lowered from the hit.

How can they expect a car, after a race of 300 400 and even 600 miles to be exactly the same as when it went through the first time?

Sure, sure, I know other teams do it. But if a guy pulls up to the inspection line, being chosen at 'random' (no coincidence McMurray led the 2nd most laps) with damage, albeit minor - to fall exactly in where NASCAR deems 'fair' or 'legal'? Another example of NASCAR taking it a bit too far.

Maybe they should have given his car time to "settle"...
