After playing a CD it won't eject. Not a home burned CD, a real one. Hit eject and CLICK-CLICK-CLICK etc.
Radio plays fine. It's the standard am-fm-cd unit that came in my 05 Chevy. Can't find any screw heads to remove the face plate. Time for a new truck?

Seriously, anyone know tricks to get this one to eject?

Here's what you do. You get a 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable, an MP3 player, download all your songs into the mp3 player, hook up the cable to the Aux jack, and enjoy! :D

There may be a small hole (like with a cdrom) into which you can insert a straightened out paper clip and eject it that way.

If that fails, carefully try to insert another cd and jar it loose. That has worked for me with my mothers Caravan.

same on dad's truck. wouldnt come out for 3 weeks, then one day it popped out on it's own.

I've also used another CD to try and get the spindle to come free.

What came out of Mom's CD player was Chuck Berry so I'm 99.9% sure that is was in fact Dad's and not hers.

For the record (or CD in this case) is was a homemade Sony brand disc.

On a slightly related note, Sony were one of the leaders in the proliferation the CD "Burner" and oddly enough are also the leaders in the battle against piracy of music

Hit the side of the unit a couple of times. I've had to do that with my six CD changer. Sometimes it just gets caught up in there. Also, as someone said, there should be a small pin hole that will open or eject when a small pin is inserted.

C'mon SST. We all know it was the Captain And Tenille 8 Track that got chewed up. There's no shame in admitting it.!!
