Say what?

Jarrett could leave MWR? XM Radio reported on Sunday that #44-Dale Jarrett, Michael Waltrip Racing and Toyota were re-evaluating Jarrett’s future with the team and could release him outright or sending him to a different Toyota team, either a current team or one that could switch to Toyota next season.(Ford Racing/XM Radio)(6-11-2007)

I can't say that I didn't see this coming. I feel sorry for DJ, but I don't know that he made the best decision in the world when he went with Michael.

Here are my initial thoughts if this were to be true:

Toyota: "Michael, your organization is just not ready for three teams. UPS is not too happy about missing races and David has more years ahead of him then DJ does. Let DJ go to another team and take UPS with him so that you can focus on two teams which in the end will make you better."

thats probably exactly what happened....i do not think that the problems at MWR are DJ's fault....but i think MW took too much on to fast....maybe getting down to 2 cars will actually work. But im not sure getting rid of DJ is the way to go, i think MW should be the one to step out of the car.

I think DJ and Kyle should hang up their helmets and go to the broadcasting booth. I think they are much better there.:D

i heard Kyle...thought he did a great job...but i missed the race that Jarrett did...but from what you guys are saying....

x7

x8 Kyle and DJ were both entertaining and informative announcers.

I thought Kyle talked a little too much. He was good behind the mike and you could tell he knew what he was talking about but he just seemed to dominate the conversation some. But, if that is a problem I know it will correct itself.

Kyle is a good announcer. If there is any way, any way at all, to get rid of Marty Snyder, do whatever it takes. In all my years of listening to and watching NASCAR racing, Snyder is the most irritating and abrasive interviewer. Ever !!!

Not a Bill Weber fan and would not be upset if Weber were to get canned, YIPPIE !! On the other hand, if keeping Weber means getting rid of Snyder, do it !!!!

The best in the booth; Kyle Petty, Wally Dallenbach and Matt Yokum.

Larry is good in the secondary booth to provide insight and expertise. He isn't so good in the primary booth as a play by play man or as a color man.
