Jason Keller Out

Looking at Keller's pic maybe it was costing too much for helmets to fit that head. I've never seen so much forehead on one person. Tho I'm sure it was an advantage to have the cords fit in the chasm that is a chin. They didn't have to worry about them slipping out of place.
It sure wasn't an upgrade. 10 wins/16 seasons vs 4 wins/16 seasons. Why do I think maybe I'd have looked around for someone wanting to break in from the trucks. And I like Mike...

He's one of those guys that has been there long enough to accomplish more than he actually has.
You can beat a dead horse only as long as your arm can stand it.

This is a real slap in the face of a veteran driver for sure. While I'm not a fan, nor have I ever been one of Jason, he has been and still is a good journeyman driver who has never been actually given a shot at the big time for whatever reason. Maybe he was born too soon and that is the problem, but today, if one is going to have an even shot even at getting into the Cup ranks, one must have a ride in one of the elite rides, i.e. one that is either owned by Roush, Hendrick, Childress, Penske, Yates, Ganassi or Evernham. If you aren't with one of those boys, you might as well kiss yer butt goodbye as far as a Cup career is concerned. Even if you are driving for Bill Davis, that ain't good enough.

I do believe that those boys who drive in that series understand this and what most of us think they are striving for in a ride in a Cup car, they really are trying to get into a Busch car that is one of the elites. That clearly is the shot at the big times.
