NASCAR.com makes it sound like TNT is going to sponsor Burton all year..either that or they rehashed the old story about the sponsoring him for the Daytona 500...anyone know and specs?

that's exactly what I was asking...they rehashed an old story for some reason, don't have TrackPass so I couldn't access it...now it states that it's just for Daytona, but earlier it said "TNT signs on with Jeff Burton" now it says "TNT signs on with Jeff Burton at Daytona"...that's why I posted in the first place...I couldn't access the story because they want more of my money. :D

The difference is neither of those channels ever carried a NASCAR race.

Now we have a volunteer for treasurer of this fund raiser. Now we just need more contributers ;)
 
you know, winston got out because of the uncertainty of the future of their industry...who's to say they couldn't sponsor a car on a yearly basis for now?
 
I really dont think TNT could afford that...at least in Nextel Cup racing.
