There were several references to Jeff Byrd of Bristol Motor Speedway being very ill. I didn't hear anything about his situation. Was it ever mentioned and does anyone what is wrong with him?

a friend of mine works for the Bristol CofC she was told it was a brain tumor hopefully they caught it in time

When I read he was in Houston for treatment, I figured he had to be at MD Anderson.

Wow, that is tough. It's very rare anyone survives a brain tumor. My uncle died of one about 15 years ago.

I have a cousin who had one and they took it out. It's been about 5 years now. He farms and not on facebook.
