Be prepared to change your avatar. If Jeff Gordon wins the race this week, I will be getting a little suspicious of NASCAR. Maybe they are making it so Jeff Gordon does so good this year, or maybe they just want hendrich motor sports to do good this year.
 
I have to say even being a jeff fan, he got really lucky today the weather was definately on his side. After alot of his strong competitors qualifyed, the track cooled down, then right after he qualified the track heated back up. Jeff definately had a strong car, but if it wont for the weather he probably would have been second or third.

But woulda shoulda coulda dont count, congrats to jeff and the 24 team.

I did not hear you complaining last year when ryan newman won 8 races, or when matt seemed to never have any bad luck.

Why is it everytime jeff and his team starts to win alot or get on a lucky streak these post apear.
 
Smack, darn it..........I thought you knew that there are a few drivers and teams that are always beneficiaries of the NASCAR conspiracy. Jeff is one of those..........my guy is too!! :D

No, I havent picked out anything yet. Seriously I think Im gonna leave politics out of this, its a little to serious. if jeff does keep his streak up, and win sunday I will probably get you a nice blue oval or big old jack roush photo :) .
 
WOO HOO,WTG to the entire #24 team.Jeff Gordon's 51st career pole and 1st pole at Chicago track,hope He gets His first win here on Sunday. ;)
Bill Elliott was the last driver to get 4 consecutive poles back in 1985. :eek:
 
Jeff certainly had some ground to catch up on, and it looks like he's determined to do it.

Luck is just a weekly factor in racing to me....sure it's lucky he got a cool track...but you don't stay in the top 10 without a good ole helpin' of skill.
 
Skill, Teamwork, Crews, HMS and even the old Rainbow Warriors (Evernham included).
