Jeff Gordon mentioned in playboy article

I heard about that on the radio today. It says Deanna Merriman(sp?) is featured quite nude in the Playboy that is coming out today. There is supposed to be a whole article in which she details their relationship. Even if it is true that he had an affair with her ( we will never really know for sure) , I'm quite sure that her version of the truth is just a wee bit skewered. If you can't trust a nude model who can you trust? :eek:
 
I first heard about this when I read this in a tabloid magazine. I dont really have an opinion on it, because at that time, another article in that tabloid called "Dale Earnhardt Jr - I like to get drunk" caught my eye at that time.

If Brookie wasn't a good "wife" then why not?
Don't get me wrong, PLEASE, because fidelity is very important.
BUT....I believe Brookie was only there for the $$$$$$$$
 
I suspected he was having an affair...I mean marital misconduct? that has adultry written all over it. Just suprised to find out it was with a female, figured it was with his rear tire cahnger or something.... :eek:

That would be an interesting conversation, whether or not you lose respect for your favorite driver if you find out he cheats on his wife.

Personally I find it extremely weak to cheat. Just leave the relationship if you can't honor the vows. They didn't even have kids to think about.

I did hear somehting through my sources about two years ago that both Jeff and Brooke were having extramarrital activity while Jeff was on the road. But who knows what is and isn't true.

I think the marriage was in trouble long before a couple years ago.

George Brett (Baseball player) waited till he retired from his sport to get married and have kids. Smart thing to do. He just knew it wouldn't work out if he was on the road so much.

HEY DeeDee, no need to feel alone. My grandson is going through the same thing of making the kind of a joke expected from someone in his age group. The difference is his deal isn't intended to be offensive. And he doesn't do it because it involves a person he dislikes, and tries to cover it by saying, "it's a joke".

No, my grandson's thing is talking about potty's and pooping, then giggling, but then again, he is only seven.

This is another phase and he is already maturing beyond it. :cheers:

We know it was a joke Dee.And most of us also know you can joke among friends. :) If I had a nickle for every joke Maj or Bow has given about Kurt I would be rich by now.Don't worry about it.

You are a good old guy underneath it all and I respect you.The right thing to do would be to apologize to the young lady(if you haven't already).You know and I know that a LOT more deserving remarks have been overlooked by you and your biting comments this week.If you are having a bout of testicular fortitude...vent it on those who deserve it.Not a lady that has a lot more maturity than old goats like me or you have shown lately.

Even you can't argue this one.You came across too strong and hurt feelings,probably unintentionally.But I have faith in ya.You know the right thing to do.

For Ms. DeeDee, an apology for the harshness of the opinion offered in a previous post by the"Whizzer".

Violation of my constitutional rule number one, was to make it personal, and for that I am truly sorry. Making personal charges or accusations is something I try very hard not to do, but this time, admittedly, my post went overboard. I know my opinions are sometimes biting, but rarely, if ever, have they been personal.

There is no question, with little forethought, it would have been easy to express my thoughts on your "joke" in a more reasonable and gentlemanly way

Gordon's not my favorite but I get sick of people picking on him but I had to laugh at this one. It was a good one. :lol:
