Jeff Gordon and Ingrid Vandebosch announced their engagement Saturday in front of friends and family during "a croquet event" at Meadowood resort in St. Helena. "We are in wine country, so I can say that," Gordon said. Croquet? That ought to make old-school NASCAR fans, the Jeff Gordon haters, choke on their pork rinds and beer.

Is it just me? She kinda looks like BROOKE the witch?

I believe they have been seeing each other for more than 2 years and met on a movie set.
 
i wonder what was jeff doing around there???
 
I sure hope Jeff understands "Pre Nups" now and takes advantage of them.

Why is Brooke a witch? Because she did not want to stay with someone who was messing around on her??

Jeff Gordon and Ingrid Vandebosch have been engaged for a month, but made it official Saturday.


SONOMA, Calif. (AP) -- Jeff Gordon is ready to get married again.

The four-time NASCAR champion plans to marry Belgian model and actress Ingrid Vandebosch.

The two started dating in 2004 and appeared together in the movie Taxi, in which Vandebosch played a bank robber and Gordon made an uncredited cameo appearance at her invitation.

They began dating about a year after Gordon's much-publicized and expensive divorce from Brooke, his wife of seven years.

Gordon said the couple had been engaged about a month, but did not officially announce it until Saturday.

Then he won yesterday's race in Sonoma, California.

Vandebosch has also dated actor Bruce Willis and former Baltimore Oriole Brady Anderson.

No date has been set for the wedding.

One thing about this that will never change...those who are fans of Jeffy will never see anything good about Brooke. They don't really know what happened in this marriage, but it doesn't matter. Brooke will always be a witch/bitch in their minds and that's it.

To those who were and have been friends of Brooke for all her life will for ever think of Jeffy as a ... nah, that's just turning face and doing what the other side is doing. For those of you who have never met or known Brooke, you don't know anything about what you are talking about.

I wish all the success both on and off the track for Jeff and his new companion. I hope they a happy and long life together as I wish for all people.
 
^ not all, i dont really care about brooke, past its just that the past. i see it like this...jeff is still here,, stronger than ever so, yeah whatever brooke can choke on it for all care my friend.

Because she was a mickey-mouse Winston girl when they met.
Why the "Brooke" Gordon instead of her real name of Jennifer Sealy? Sounds to me like she wanted to be someone/something else.
She'll always be "Brooke The Crook", now.

Nearly EVERY guy that my daughter knows are ALL shorter than she is. She's 5'11.5" tall.

My daughter is 5'11", and a readhead!

I have a T (a gift from Guido) that says "size doesn't matter".

yeah who cares if she's tall or whatnot, if they are happy together, that's what counts.
 
MORE: When Jeff Gordon broke the news at Sonoma that he and girlfriend Ingrid Vanderboush were engaged to be married the racing media not only was curious how he proposed but also if there was a prenuptial agreement since Gordon was forced to give up millions following his bitter divorce to Brooke Sealy. Asked in a light-hearted way during the Infineon Raceway post race press conference Jeff chuckled and said “I think she knows that I’m a lot smarter the second time around. I guarantee you one thing...she’s got a much better guy this time around and I’ve got an amazing girl this time around to. I can’t say there’s any big story to the engagement. We’ve actually been holding it to ourselves for about a month. Because we didn’t do it the traditional way and get down on one knee and go to some fancy restaurant or Eiffel Tower or something we held onto it for a while until we were ready to tell people.” Gordon chose to break the news to family and friends who live in and around his hometown in California. “As much as we travel you’re not typically in a place where you can get a bunch of people together. We wanted to let our family know first obviously and so it was great to be able to do that.” As far the pre-nup thing?
