CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 13, 2006) - Ingrid Vandebosch, wife of four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon, is pregnant.

"We're obviously very excited," said Gordon, who announced his engagement at Infineon Raceway in June and married Vandebosch on November 7. "Christmas came early for us this year.


"This is a very special gift for us – one that we're both looking forward to. The due date is early July, and Ingrid and I can't wait to be parents.


"We've known for a little while, but we couldn't wait any longer to share the good news with our friends and fans."
 
That didn't take long.

I can hear all the cynics now and the various comments they'll come up, like asking who's the daddy? :rolleyes:
 
Hmmm, an 8 month baby? I thought most went 9 months...
See the rich get all the breaks. Theys wimmen don't even have to suffer all the way thru labor like the po' folks. They gets to have theirs early.
 
My guess --- that's why the surprise wedding in Mexico.

It really wouldn't be good publicity for Jeff and Dupont for her to be visibily preggers and no wedding ring.

But, regardless, it is still a happy event.

The first sports celebrity to do the unthinkable without being married? :rolleyes: How shocking. Now Chevy and Pepsi and Dupont will go out of business for sure.

Barbie Gordon prepares to enter NASCAR's highest division. This knockout gorgeous girl could have been a world class model or follow in her fathers footsteps as a NASCAR champion. She's says she can do both and raise interest if both profession's. After retiring she wants to be president of something.

On a side note, for those of you who thought Jeff's divorce settlement with Brook was a little steep, well now if he ever decides to divorce his new wife the price just went up, several times...
