While I understand the start and park theory and why underfunded teams do it, It really puts a bitter taste in my mouth for the driver. I know its not their fault and they are just trying to get their foot in the door and pull sponsors but in my opinion its not good for the sport. You don't see the 49rs come out and just play one quarter ! You don't see the Astros come out and only play half an inning. Only in NASCAR can a team come to a track and expect to only run 1% of the event. Not to mention the fact that that start and park team is taking a spot away that could be taken by a car willing and able to actually compete ! As usual these are simply my opinions and I'm sure ppl will disagree.
