A law firm is offering a $2,500 cash reward in an effort to find a race hauler which has been reportedly stolen for a second time.

The hauler is driver Jennifer Jo Cobb's 2004 race team UltraComp hauler.

This is the second time Cobb's former hauler has been reportedly stolen. The first time was in May 2013 before a race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Warrants were initially issued against driver Mike Harmon and business partner David Novak. Each was wanted for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

WBTV was there as deputies recovered two cars and five trucks from Harmon's two garages in late May 2013. Deputies say Harmon stole the cars from Cobb at the end of 2012.

The vehicles were seized from Harmon's shop in Mooresville, and from a storage facility in Catawba County.

Harmon maintained his innocence throughout saying he "never stolen as much as a piece of bubble gum."

In court documents, detectives stated that Harmon indicated to deputies that he knew where the race hauler was being held, but wouldn't reveal the location unless deputies promised that it would not be returned to Cobb.

Harmon had attempted to get the trailer back in the past, through the court system, but the ruling went against him.

Cobb was unable to qualify for the 2013 Camping World Truck Series race due to equipment failure.

In October 2013, Cobb has asked that criminal charges against Harmon and Novak be dropped.

"After much discussion with my legal counsel I have decided that upon the conclusion of the civil matters, I would like to be finished with any further connections to these parties and events," Cobb stated in a release.

She continued, "To endure an ongoing criminal case would simply be counterproductive to my moving on and the 2014 race season."

Cobb is back in Charlotte to qualify for the Camping World Truck Series.

She needs to hire better security when in Charlotte and who in their right mind steals anything of hers?
 
A serial Jennifer Jo Cobb hauler stealer lurks amongst us....I guess I don't have to worry since I'm not JJC and I don't have a hauler ;).

Need the pros on the case:

Watson: "Dr. Holmes..what exactly is a "hauler" and why would it be stolen again?"

Sherlock Holmes: "It's a long truck with stuff in it Watson...but the key question...as usual...is what is the motive? These things cannot be easily fenced for a fast profit by the criminal."

Watson: "I see...so there must be some kind of interior motive eh?"

Holmes: "Ulterior Watson...ulterior...not interior you boob...but other than your lack of understanding of the language...you are probably right."

The time she sat there and cried and threw a tantrum about having to start and park, because she bought a ride and didn't pay for it, said it all. She managed to garner up sympathy from the media and from fans and got a ride for the next race where, heh, she parked the car in the opening laps.

There's a reason drama always follows JJC around. She owed Mike Harmon a lot of money. Harmon's a dumbass for stealing the hauler but he did try to go through the legal process and the courts sided with her so he foolishly acted out of desperation.

I wish the media and fans would run her out of the sport but the fans are too busy trying to run Danica's fans out of the sport.
 
I wish she would just go away already. She's a rolling chicane in the Truck Series and just generally annoying and dramatic.

It's not the fans...it's those pesky, internet savvy Reddit users :)

However, I do agree that Nascar doesn't need JJC.

Come on now...that's a bit of a stretch.

I should also say that some people wont shop at Lowe's because of their hate for Johnson so you never know :confused:
 
I hope she sticks around just as long as Danica just so all of you have something to whine and cry about.

You can say that about half the field in NASCAR.

There are alot of hypocrites up in this thread. They get butthurt when people go on the Danica thread and trash her but they have no problem coming into a thread abut another female driver and call her names and such. Pathetic, imo.

Good grief, what a train wreck JJC is.

I'm hoping she just fades back into obscurity, but me thinks she'll be pouting the whole way.
 
That had to be like looking for a needle in a hay stack for the police with all the Nascar haulers being in Charlotte and and all the Nhra team haulers being just 250 miles away in Ga. All the DOT and truck scales were probably on a red alert.
 
Some people in the area are saying they saw a WW2 tank tow it into the woods. Sounds like Brad was drinking again.
