:salute: on this website by comparison to some of the others ??? Periodically I turn to some of the older and other websites that have NASCAR Winston Cup forums and discussion groups, and they are pretty much, well, to be politically correct, let me say, garbage ?????? If that isn't to your liking perhaps the word immature might be a better choice.

Very few offer what is right here as far as knowledge, information, and for the most part, good discussion. Not to say there aren't other websites that have what is offered here, but this site sems to be pretty well grounded. Could that be due to the dilligence of the moderators??

If it is then thanks to all of them for keeping the troublemakers, wannabes, instigators and others looking to run a high post count with nothing in mind of interest to the rest of us, under control.

To all who do post here and are comfortable, welcome, stay, don't take me too seriously, watch out for 97Forever and Bowtie,(that's a Ford, Chevy thing there) and keep what so far is a good website for NASCAR Winston Cup racing discussions, as fun as it is.

NO !!!!!!! I do not know who does nor do I own part of this website. I'm lucky to remember how to turn on my computer each day. JFYI. :cheers:

I agree Whizzer, some of the other forums are without substance. Very immature topics like who's the cutest driver and such. (didn't you already hear about this earlier today 97?) ;)
I also agree 97 and Bow are the two to watch out for. That 97 really knows how to get something started and leave Bow holding the bag. (Whatever) :D :rolleyes:
We do owe a big thanks to the moderators and to the members that make this place what it is. :cheers:

Seriously though I'll be honest, I sometimes got a kick out of instigating things but it got old really really quick to me and Im sure to other posters as well, its only because when I first came here I didnt take this board (or any other board for that matter) very seriously. But as I have gotten to get a feel for you guys this is definitely a different "group" than those who reside at other boards. I wanted to be a part of it, hence the name/attitude change. :p

Big props to the mods and everyone who participates in the discussions here for keeping it all fun, real, respectful, interesting, and most importantly, fun. :D

Thanks, Whizzer. I really appreciate all of you who post here. I can get a little interesting at times, and there are those who try to push the envelope at times. But with that said, this place wouldn't be what it is without all of it's members.

And, regarding 97forever and bowtie, well, they are just two of the uh......um.....sweetest........well......I really get a kick out of these two. And then there is Whizzer, Hardscrabble, Windsor, boB and the rest who have this great knowledge of just about everything to do with the history of this great sport that we all like to talk about.

Glad ya feel that way racersimage. :D As long as you remember to put the toilet seat up, wash before eating, pick up your dirty dishes, put the dirty clothes in the hamper and if you've finished with your beer and the paper, pick'em up!!!!! These are just a few friendly suggestions to help continue to keep this place clean and respectable. :D

I post to a lot of boards and email groups. Just ain't got much a life I spose. One thing I do tho is pretty much move on once the idiots show if the mods don't take care of it. I figure if some owners want trash boards that's up to them.

Gots to remember that most board owners are in it for the money also. As long as folks keep clicking they get paid, and so some are very reluctant to take any kind of action concerning the garbage mouths.
 
This is a cool place. been here over a year.Most treads are pretty good. I am not like 97 or Bowtie. I am one of the more quieter ones :lol: . And thanks to the Mods. for keeping things cool. :cheers:
